The first ever level designed for Pizza Tower is shown here, not resembling any level in the final game. It also showcases an unused hook gimmick as well other oddities like Cheeseslimes having an unique animation for getting jumped on or Pepperoni Goblins stopping their strut to dance in place for a little bit.

PEPPINO REACTS to the January update with better bitrate!

War is previewed here, somewhat resembling the level layout philosophy of the SAGE-era levels, and lacking its own unique timer. Alongside this was a couple backgrounds; One for War, all of Deep-Dish Nine's backgrounds, a background from The Pig City, "Pizzaland" from the Clown secret room, two from Oh sh*t!, and one from Don't Make A Sound. Notably, some are more color-varied and heavy on contrast compared to how they appear in the final game.

Also, Peppino gets a Big Gulp.

Noise du purple carré

April 3rd, 2021
A look at some gameplay and levels in the April 2021 Patreon build, featuring both Peppino and The Noise. Notably, none of the levels have been properly tiled, and the unused Mansion level lacks backgrounds. The combo meter has now been reverted back to a 2-second leeway. Don't Make A Sound has a spotlight effect seldom used previously, which would be removed in favor of a simple screen-darkening effect later on.

Pizza Tower Dev Log #32: I don't know what is going on

A basic update on how the game has evolved between April 2021, and September's Rework. It introduces the genesis of the finished game's more speed-focused orientation, as well as the scrapped message box feature. In the gameplay footage, the Ghost transformation's scrapped Squeak Squad-esque enemy possession ability can be seen. Also present are the Rework's moveset alterations in the first clip of Kung Fu and the second clip of Pizzascare, respectively.

Another update inbetween builds, this time between Rework and Eggplant. War now has a custom timer, though it's twice as tall as it would be Octobe22 onwards. The final Combo meter has now been implemented with its 6 seconds of leeway, though it hangs to the left of the TV, instead of directly below it. Combo markings such as "Cheesy" and "Brutal" hang around where Peppino is in gameplay, instead of where the combo meter is. Looking closely, it can be seen that the player has an S rank in all of the footage, noting that this is the beginning of when ranks were being adjusted. In Refrigerator-Refrigerador-Freezerator, the jetpack things were gray instead of red. Oh sh*t!, the dark rooms in Don't Make A Sound, and The Pig City are the only levels that haven't been tiled yet. Notably Peppino's graphics in the hud's TV lack a solid background (except for in The Pig City), and the rocket, cheese transformation, and Gustavo lack their designated TV graphics.

A trailer for the Eggplant build, basically. Notably, the depicted footage shows an early playtest version of said build, with notable differences including redesigns for both Oregano Desert's background and the metal blocks, both of which would later be reverted.
