The NFL unveiled the Eagles’ 2024 regular-season schedule, which will see Philadelphia play five games in prime time.
In all, the Eagles will face seven playoff teams and four NFC squads that made the postseason. NFL experts are revealing their predictions, and Philadelphia isn’t expected to lose more than six games.

Final record prediction: 12-5
After a disastrous 1-6 finish to last season, the Eagles need to turn the page quickly. And it sure looks like the schedule gives them a chance to do it. After a tough opener in Brazil against the Packers, they have much easier games against the Falcons and Saints. Their toughest road trip in the first seven games is at Tampa and they’ve got an early bye (Week 5). Not all of them are easy games, but none of those opponents is a top-tier team, giving the Eagles a real chance to open strong.
It also gives them a chance to get used to new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore and figure out the best ways to use their new weapon, Saquon Barkley. It’ll also help that they’ll see the Panthers, Commanders and Giants in their final five games, making it unlikely they’ll have a late-season collapse again. —Vacchiano

2024 Prediction: 12-5
Vic Fangio was the defensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins over the past two years. His units ranked within the top 10 in total yards or scoring.
This year, Fangio will get the Eagles defense back on the right track with high-level rookies Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean and veteran defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson likely to play key roles in the secondary.

Record Prediction: 12-5
After an embarrassing late-season collapse, the Philadelphia Eagles made significant changes. They hired two coordinators (Kellen Moore and Vic Fangio) and made crucial additions on both sides of the ball.
The most significant addition is RB Saquon Barkley, who should allow Philadelphia to be more balanced on offense. The team’s back seven is still a concern and could start multiple rookies immediately. With a more demanding schedule ahead of the Eagles in 2024, don’t be surprised if they hover around 11 wins again.

Sure wouldn’t mind hitting São Paulo in Week 1 for the Friday night contest between Philadelphia and Green Bay. Can someone convince my boss that I need to be there? Eagles fans certainly enjoyed the high-profile signing of Saquon Barkley, but don’t forget about the new faces on the other side of the ball: veterans Bryce Huff and Devin White, as well as two of my top three cornerback prospects from this year’s draft in Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean. And of course, versatile cover man C.J. Gardner-Johnson is back in the fold. According to my calculations at the moment, the Eagles have one back-to-back where they’re not favored in either game: the two-week road trip to face the Rams and Ravens as the calendar flips from November to December. However, they are within striking distance in each contest (less than 3.0 percentage points), so this could easily shift before the season starts — especially consider Philly has a mini bye immediately preceding that stretch, thanks to a Thursday night home game in Week 11.
