Mixed Feelings About HBADA H3 pro
Price and Value:
The chair's cost is notably higher in Europe, priced at approximately 600 euros, which is double what it is in China (around 280 euros when converted from CNY). I verified these figures with the official retailer on Taobao. There's no clear justification for this price discrepancy, especially since the package was shipped from Germany, not China. A breakdown of these costs, possibly including shipping, would be appreciated for transparency.
Build Quality:
While the chair incorporates several useful features, the build quality does not seem to justify the high price. It relies heavily on plastic components, which are disappointing at this price point. The metal base also lacks refinement, with poorly polished edges that do not meet expectations for a 600 euro product.
Comfort and Functionality:
The chair does offer some positives. The mesh sections of the chair are satisfactory, and the neck rest is particularly comfortable. However, the neck rest is unstable when adjusting its height, requiring excessive force that gives the impression it might break. This does not inspire confidence in its durability.
Ergonomics:
The armrests are adjustable and provide several angles, which is a plus. However, the base height does not fit well with my desk, forcing me to adjust the armrests inward to achieve a comfortable typing position. My desk height is currently 72.1 cm, and it is motor-adjustable, yet I still face these issues.
Overall Thoughts:
This chair could be a good purchase if the price were lower. While it offers adequate support for the back and neck, which I appreciate, the overall build quality and material choice do not align with its high cost. In the Western market, where reliable ergonomic chairs are scarce and the best ones are often prohibitively expensive, this chair stands out for its design but falls short on delivering value for money.
Conclusion:
If you need substantial back and neck support and are willing to overlook the price and some quality concerns, this chair might suit your needs. However, potential buyers should weigh these factors carefully, given the cost and construction issues.
