Hi guys, just booked our first fishing trip to Holland in September. Staying at the De Koerberg campsite near Hattem and 7 miles from Zwolle. I have tried to find details of tackle dealers in the area, without much luck so far. Therefore would any of you Holland Veterans out there be able to provide me with details of websites or telephone numbers so i can may arrangements for our bait and permits whilst we are there.
Any help much appreicated.
Regards
Ray

Hi Ray,
We have stayed at De Koerberg for the past 12 years and love it.
Ownership of the site changed 3 years ago and other changes have taken place. The national licence you need which covers all the rivers and canals can be purchased at reception. As can the permits for mud bank and roach lakes. the permits for 2 local waters known as "bream traps" can be bought from a shop in Heerde town centre, 5 minutes from the campsite. It all depends what type of fishing you prefer.
As for bait, we now take ours with us in coolboxes as the english guy onsite no longer does it. There are however fridges available for use in a large baitshed next to the cabins.
The clubhouse onsite does good food and beer at reasonable prices in the evenings. There is a Chinese restaurant 2 minutes down the road which is superb, and an aldi store 5 minutes away.
We will be there from 23rd august for 1 week so can give you more info when we return. Hope this helps. You will find loads of info on the " going fishing " forum under the " who's going to holland " thread.

Bertyboy, what is the shop called in Heerde where you can buy the 'Bream Trap' tickets. Where is it located (roughly) and what do they cost?
Richard used to sell them, but doesn't anymore, so any information that you can give me reference the 'Bream Traps' would be gratefully recieved:
Many thanks in advance mate!!!!

Pat I think it's called Volkers.
Chris watson will be able to tell you exactly where it is when he returns from De Koerberg. We haven't fished the bream traps for the past 3 years so haven't needed to find the shop.

Like Bert, I have also been going to De Koerberg for 12 years, as he has already said, all permits are now available at reception and it's best to take all your own bait with you, there's more than enough fridges for everyone. However if you run out of something there is a well stocked tackle shop in Zwolle, it's called :- http://www.zunnebeld.nl/
I will be there the same week as Bert but I'm staying for 2 weeks, so if you're coming the 1st week in September there will be quite a few of us in [:T]
