What is Nutella® hazelnut spread?

Nutella® hazelnut spread does not contain peanuts or any peanut ingredients, nor does the product come in contact with peanuts during manufacturing.

No. Palm oil is naturally extracted from the fruit of the palm. To assure the best consistency for easy spreading, the palm oil is adjusted by reducing the level of saturated fat.

Does Ferrero support responsible palm oil use?

Yes. As a member of the RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil), Ferrero only uses palm oil which is extracted from controlled plantations in Malaysia.

How should Nutella® be stored?

Nutella® should be stored at room temperature (between 64° and 72° F). Keep the container tightly closed and store in a cool, dry place to maintain maximum flavor. Do not refrigerate Nutella®, otherwise it will harden and become difficult to spread. Excessive heat will accelerate the loss of flavor and may cause the oils found in Nutella® to separate.

Nutella® is available nationwide and can be obtained through foodservice distributors and warehouse stores.

What is the shelf life of Nutella®?

Nutella® has a 12 month shelf life even after opening for the portion packs (0.52oz), jars (26.5oz) and the tubs (6.6lb). Nutella® piping bag (35.2oz) has a 6 month shelf life.
