Elizabeth Cheney, APRN, CNP, provides care with the Orthopedics team. She currently sees patients at Springfield Clinic 1st - 800 Building, Memorial Care in Chatham and Springfield Clinic Macomb. She collaborates with Brett Wolters, MD. She has more than 15 years of experience in nursing, including six years as a registered nurse at Springfield Clinic before becoming a nurse practitioner with Springfield Clinic in 2015.
“I was inspired to go into nursing because of the amazing care provided to me when having my daughter,” says Elizabeth. “I chose to specialize in orthopedics because of the cohesive team atmosphere at Springfield Clinic that helped deliver excellent patient care.”
Elizabeth earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys teaching dance. She is involved with Springfield Youth Performance Group, a non-profit dance company, and directs musicals. She also participates in collaborative artistic projects for the Vachel Lindsay Association and the Pharmacy Art Gallery.
